On the A12 Inntalautobahn toward Innsbruck: take the Achensee/Zillertal exit, continue on the B 169 Zillertal road toward the Gerlos pass. Turn off at Zell am Ziller, from there only 4 km to Hainzenberg where the Gerlosstein cable car is on the right hand side.

Please inform us of your estimated time of arrival. We are happy to pick up your luggage from the lift station, except during lunch hours in the restaurant - between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm.
Unload your luggage at the rear of the Gerlosstein cable car. There is an elevator. Then park your car in the P2 carpark below the main road. (Validate your parking ticket PRIOR to using the cable car. For liftpass holders parking is free). Buy your liftpass and inform the cashier where you have left your luggage. You can then load it into the cable car and we will pick it up from the top station as soon as possible.
Gerlosstein cable car operating hours: Monday - Sunday 8:30 -4:30 & Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 7:45-9:15 pm.
Always closed und Sundays and Wednesday evenings.
Please note, getting up to the hotel in winter is only possible via the Gerlosstein cable car!

Only in summer is the 7 km toll road (not asphalted) to the hotel open. A single lane forest road with passing places to accommodate oncoming traffic.
Toll is paid at the barrier. € 10 for a round trip.
Please have the exact money ready, € 5.00 or € 10.00 notes. Barrier opens automatically. Follow the road for 7 km.
NOTE: No busses, vans and cars only.
IMPORTANT: For stays 3 nights or more you receive a remote control for the barrier - which means you only pay the toll once!

Refund for a minimum consumption of €20.00 - €3.00 per parking ticket.
